The final week of the winter term saw widespread celebration across UCC as the school hosted its seasonal Success Awards. This term, teachers submitted nearly 400 individual student nominations, recognizing young people who consistently bring the school’s values of ambition, care, and equality to life.
The awards recognize everything from outstanding academic perseverance to acts of kindness and community service. The sheer volume of nominations reflects the fantastic culture of mutual respect and hard work that defines the student body. The school extends a massive well-done to every single award recipient and nominee who made their community proud this term.
Our key aim is to develop an aspirational culture and to encourage all of our students to challenge themselves, naturally in the academic curriculum but also in every other sphere of a truly extensive enrichment programme
