Welcome to UCC

Ullswater Community College is an exciting and vibrant institution where students can enjoy a wide range of opportunities in an environment where great teaching results in excellent outcomes. Our progress has made us an increasingly popular choice within this community and continues to generate new ideas and aspirations for the future.

We are proud of our school and, naturally, we hope that what it offers is attractive and important to others. We are very proud of our students too; we expect a lot from them and we believe that we have much to offer in return.

The purpose of this website is to inform you about the curriculum, facilities and organisation of the school and – perhaps more importantly – to give you a flavour of our ethos and underlying philosophy. However, no website can fully capture the nature of life in a school and parents of prospective students are very welcome to look around when the school is in session. Please contact us to arrange an appointment if you would like to find out more.

We travelled to Keswick School yesterday for our final netball and rugby fixtures of the season!
We played both Keswick and Cockermouth and our teams saw a lot of success in their matches.
It was a lovely way to finish the season - well done everyone!
Special mention to Martha, Lola, Alice & Maisie who all won player of the match for their team!
