The UCC Governing Body has officially announced a vacancy for a Parent Governor and is inviting passionate parents and carers to submit their nominations. School governors play an essential, strategic role in overseeing the school’s curriculum, financial health, and long-term development plans.
Each governor is directly linked to a specific department or key area of the school to build deep institutional knowledge. Chair of Governors David Carter emphasized that high-quality training is fully provided, making this an excellent opportunity for parents to actively contribute to UCC’s ongoing journey toward becoming ‘Best in County’.
Our key aim is to develop an aspirational culture and to encourage all of our students to challenge themselves, naturally in the academic curriculum but also in every other sphere of a truly extensive enrichment programme
