One of the absolute highlights of the school calendar recently concluded as over two hundred Year 10 students successfully completed an action-packed Work Experience Week. Students traded the classroom for the workplace, trialling careers in teaching, firefighting, engineering, music technology, animal care, and motor mechanics.
Local employers flooded the school with praise regarding the maturity, practical skills, and outstanding attitude shown by the UCC cohort. Individual standouts included Sophie, who excelled in a busy veterinary placement; CJ, who assisted with recording and mixing in a music studio; and Holly, who took on corporate marketing, bookkeeping, and minutes-taking responsibilities.
