UCC’s brightest young minds have proven their problem-solving prowess in a recent Magnificent Maths competition. Teams of Year 7 and Year 8 students went head-to-head with schools from across the region, tackling complex, high-level mathematical puzzles and logical reasoning challenges.
The event highlighted not only the students’ exceptional numerical ability but also their teamwork, speed, and mathematical resilience under pressure. The school extends its congratulations to all the participants for representing UCC’s culture of academic ambition so brilliantly.
Our key aim is to develop an aspirational culture and to encourage all of our students to challenge themselves, naturally in the academic curriculum but also in every other sphere of a truly extensive enrichment programme
