Demand for places at Ullswater Community College remains exceptionally high, with the school hosting over 100 individual tours for prospective Year 6 families. As the primary school application deadline of October 31st approaches, families from across the region have been exploring the campus to see what makes the college unique.
During the tours, visitors have had the opportunity to see active classrooms, experience the school’s vibrant culture, and meet current students. Based on the incredible turnout and early application figures, UCC is confidently on track to maintain its long-standing status as the largest and most vibrant school in Westmorland and Furness.
Our key aim is to develop an aspirational culture and to encourage all of our students to challenge themselves, naturally in the academic curriculum but also in every other sphere of a truly extensive enrichment programme
