Ullswater Community College is celebrating the fantastic academic achievements of its students following the publication of exam results over the summer. The school extended its warmest congratulations to all students and their families for their hard work and dedication.
The strong results are a direct measure of the ever-improving quality of teaching in the classroom and the exceptional behavior standards maintained across the school. Sixth Form results once again proved to be a major strength, highlighting UCC’s balance of academic excellence and holistic pastoral support. Headteacher Mr. Gilby stated that while the school is immensely proud of these results, UCC continues to be about “academic excellence and so much more” as it prepares students for real-world success.
Our key aim is to develop an aspirational culture and to encourage all of our students to challenge themselves, naturally in the academic curriculum but also in every other sphere of a truly extensive enrichment programme
