Christmas Shoebox Appeal

By 8 November 2021No Comments

Over the last few years UCC have taken part in the Christmas Shoebox Appeal – “Boxes of Hope”.

This is a great opportunity for our students to put together shoeboxes of small gifts for less fortunate children.

The deadline for this year is Wednesday 17 November 2021.

Students can hand their shoeboxes to their form tutor, or directly to Mrs Simkins in W98.

  1. Find a small-sized empty shoebox
  2. Wrap both the box and lid (separately) in Christmas wrapping paper
  3. Fill it with small items from the suggested list (below)
  4. Add £2.00 – put it somewhere obvious in the box – to cover transportation
  5. Label it as “girl” or “boy”
