Ullswater Community College is proud to have a Resourced Provision for students with complex and severe Learning Difficulties. We are ambitious for all our young people who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. Our learning support team are experienced with providing support for students with a wide range of learning and physical needs. Our inclusive personalised approach enables our young people to gain a wide range of qualifications including ASDAN, Entry Level, GCSE and A Level. The Applied Learning Centre provides vocational courses for our students.
Our SENDCO works closely with our feeder primary schools and other professionals to ensure that transition from primary to secondary is as successful as possible.
At UCC we are very proud of the fact that students of all abilities are included in the provision we offer. We see it as a real strength of the school that we cater for the widest range of interests and abilities because of the excellent team of specialist staff.
