Dear Parent/Carer
We wanted to reassure you that we are continuing to monitor the Covid situation and government advice for schools. In line with current guidance and in order to undertake testing at the start of the new term it is necessary for us to stagger the start to the new year:
Wednesday 5 January 2022
Years 9, 11 and 13 return to school.
Period 1 they go straight to their form room where they will be issued with a new student planner and timetable.
If they have consent they will be lateral flow tested, then follow their timetable for most of the day.
During periods 3 & 4, all Year 11 students will have a short interview with a senior member of staff. This will focus on discussing mock examination results, what we can do to support and post-16 options.
Thursday 6 January 2022
Years 8, 10 and 12 return to school.
Period 1 they go straight to their form room where they will be issued with a new student planner and timetable.
If they have consent they will be lateral flow tested, and follow their timetable for most of the day.
Years 9, 11 and 13 also have tutor time period 1, then follow their normal timetable.
Friday 7 January 2022
Year 7 return to school.
Period 1 they go straight to their form room where they will be issued with a new student planner and timetable.
If they have consent they will be lateral flow tested, and follow their timetable for most of the day.
Years 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 follow their normal timetable.
Copies of timetables will be emailed home on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

Please continue to report covid cases to us that may impact school i.e. 48 hours after a student has attended school, so if they were in school today and test positive for covid up until Saturday evening please email admin@ullswatercc.co.uk
