Dear Parent/Carer
We hope you have all had a pleasant Christmas and want to wish you all a Happy New Year for 2024! The students have made a strong start to the year and we’re pleased to see them all settling back into the school routines.
The vast majority of students have returned to school looking very smart and we want to thank you for the ongoing support in ensuring that our expectations for uniform are met and that these high standards are maintained.
Please remember that spare/replacement items of uniform can be loaned from the Health Hub (in return for a mobile phone deposit) and that all students are expected to comply with this requirement if they are not wearing correct uniform. As always, if purchasing uniform items is difficult for any families, there is information on the school website regarding the UCC Support Fund which is there to provide help when needed.
Exam Certificates
Any students that sat exams last summer, your certificates are now ready to collect from school reception if you haven’t already. Please collect Monday to Friday between 9:30 – 15:30 and bring ID with you. If you can’t collect yourself, you can nominate someone else through this online form.

- w/c 5 February Year 11 & 13 Mock exams begin
- Half term break; Monday 12 February 2024 – Friday 16 February 2024
- GCSE and A Level Awards Evening; Wednesday 27 March 2024 – Cumberland Hall
