Chloe StrandMidwife

“Chloe studied Double Health and Social Care at UCC and graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a Midwifery Degree, in 2019. Chloe is just 6 months from qualifying as a registered midwife and is working during the Coronavirus pandemic.”

“I left UCC in 2005. I've been a qualified nurse since 2012 after graduating from Liverpool John Moores University.
I've worked for many different NHS Trusts across the UK and a gained further qualification from the university of Southampton.
Most recently, I've been working as a sister in the accident and emergency department at Carlisle looking after coronavirus patients on the front line.”

Louise MayhewStaff Nurse

“Louise is currently working on an assessment and treatment unit for people with a learning disability who are detained under the Mental Health Act.
Her role requires intensive face to face contact with patients who are often highly anxious or distressed.
The ward Louise works on supports the older people’s wards at the hospital for patients who have symptoms of the Coronavirus.”

“Bethany is currently working in the paediatric high dependency unit at Manchester Children's Hospital.
She is caring for children with a range of serious conditions, including Covid-19.”

“Jessica has been working on the Covid 19 ward at the Cumberland infirmary as a staff Nurse, which was haematology previous to the pandemic.”
