Thank you for another incredibly successful year at UCC. I would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of the arrangements for the end of term.
On Wednesday 20 July 2022 the school day will end at 12.40pm.
Period 1 – 08.55 – 09.45
Period 2 – 09.50 – 10.30
Break – 10.30 – 11.00
Period 3 – 11.00 – 11.40
Period 4 – 11.45 – 12.20
Tutor time – 12.20 – 12.40
Students leave – 12.40 (buses leave at 13.00)
Attendance next week is really important, standard lessons will continue right up until Wednesday lunchtime – and students then get 7 weeks holiday. Full school uniform is also expected right up until the end of term.
In September, Year 7, 11 & 12 students start back on Wednesday 7 September 2022. All years are back on Thursday 8 September 2022. (Term dates can be found on our website; https://ullswatercc.co.uk/info/term-dates/)
We’ve listened to parent feedback and we are planning an opportunity for all parents to visit school in the first term of next year.
Following on from that, parents’ evenings for years 7, 8, 10 & 12 will remain online, parents’ evenings for years 9, 11 & 13 will be face to face.
With that in mind please remember you don’t need to wait for the annual parents’ evening, if you have a query about your child’s progress email their teachers, or contact us to arrange a meeting with form tutors or Head of Year. We endeavour to respond to all calls and emails as soon as we can, but please be mindful that in a busy school this may take a few days.
Any uniform orders for September need to be placed ASAP through www.ipayimpact.co.uk. School reception is open 8am – 3.45pm during the summer holidays, and once your order is ready to collect you will receive a text message.
