Dear Parent/Carer
As we have now reached the end of our Year 11 journey, I wanted to clarify tomorrow’s arrangements.
Students will gather in the Cumberland hall following the whole cohort’s Physics exam. There will be an opportunity for a brief goodbye with a snack/drink and the chance for those who wish to ‘sign shirts’, to do so. We would ask that students bring a second shirt to sign as we do not want them signing each other’s shirts while they are still wearing them. Over half of the year group will be sitting the Geography exam in the afternoon and they must be wearing shirts free of graffiti.
Following this goodbye the students who have finished will leave school at approximately 12.20pm. We would ask that these students either return straight home, or remain in lessons if they need to catch a bus.
Those who have an afternoon exam will remain and prepare for the exam. These students will return home on the buses or at the end of the day as normal.
We would remind students of the need to remain sensible as they leave school as they will still be representing UCC as they head home, any inappropriate behaviour will be treated in line with normal expectations and we don’t want any of our wonderful students to prejudice their attendance at the prom next week
Students that have purchased a prom ticket and signed the code of conduct will receive their prom ticket through the post.
If the code of conduct hasn’t yet been signed please do so here
Once again, thank you for your ongoing support and everything you have committed to at Ullswater over the last 5 years. It has been a pleasure to work with and support the year 11’s and to get to know you all along the way.
Yours faithfully
Mr S Cooper
Head of Year 11
