We hope that everyone has enjoyed a lovely summer, and that new Year 7 students are looking forward to starting UCC next week!
Tuesday 5 September 2023
Year 7 students start UCC – students need to meet in the Cumberland Hall by 8.50am
Year 11 and 12 also return on this day.
Period 1 & 2 on this day will be spent with form tutors.
If your child needs their PE kit on the first day you will receive a text message confirming.
Wednesday 6 September 2023
All year groups return on this day – period 1 will be spent with form tutors.
Year 7, 11 & 12 should go straight to form rooms for 8.55am.
Students will be given a paper copy of their new timetable on their first day – these will be visible to parents on the Class Charts app within the first few days – you will receive an email explaining Class Charts nearer the time.
We have created a back to school checklist which some people find helpful, as well as the Parent Student Guide 2023 which contains lots of information that you may need, including a reminder of the Uniform Guide that we expect students to adhere to – and don’t forget to check the FAQs on our website if you have any questions; https://ullswatercc.co.uk/faqs/
Lastly, two reminders;
1.That the times of the school day have changed from September, students will be on site 8.55am – 3.25pm – five lessons a day, on a 2 week cycle

Dates for your diary
Tuesday 12 September 2023 – Years 7, 10 & 12 have their school photograph taken throughout the day
w/c 9 October 2023 – Year 7 Settling In Evening – more information will be sent nearer the time.
