On Wednesday 10 May, international Islamic artist, poet and author Razwan Al-Haq (https://ulhaq.com/) will once again lead our Islamic Discovery Day with Year 7 and 8 at Ullswater Community College. This will be Raz’s 12th visit to UCC and this event is always a fantastic British Values enrichment opportunity for our students.
On the day our students will learn about the contributions of Islam to global cultures, world history, science, maths, medicine, DT, the arts and interfaith dialogue, and will get the opportunity to create their own piece of artwork that reflects their learning from the day.
