Dear Parent/Carer
Just a reminder that the Sports Council have organised a Fun Run, to be held on Friday 25 November 2022, to raise money for Children’s Cancer North who supported Lucy Bland during her fight with Leukaemia.
Students have been eagerly signing up and collecting sponsorship forms – we still have some available from reception for any students that would still like one – and there is still time to sign up to the event through their form tutor.
A tuck shop with refreshments will be available on the day, so students may wish to bring a small amount of cash. Fancy dress is encouraged but not compulsory, students can come into school in the fancy dress but must change into school uniform afterwards – the run will be approx. 9.15am – 10.15am.
Other suggested items are a plastic bag for dirty kit and a hand towel to wipe down muddy arms/legs at the end of the run!
We look forward to seeing lots of students getting involved and supporting this fantastic event and charity.
