Dear Parent/Carer
Since the start of year 10 your child has been studying the triple science GCSE specifications, which leads to three separate GCSEs in biology, chemistry and physics. This is designed to give the students the maximum opportunity to succeed on these courses.
They will be sitting their end of year exams during the week commencing Monday 26 June. Revision lists will be shared with students via Google classroom to help them prepare for the exams, which will cover the whole of the year 10 curriculum.
Performance in these exams and end of unit assessments, attitude to learning data and student voice will help us to decide the most suitable pathway into Year 11 for maximising students’ outcomes.
Below is an overview of the differences between the courses;

(Please note that studying Trilogy science does not prevent any student from going on to study science in the sixth form or beyond)
