Dear Parent/Carer
As I’m sure you’re aware the forecast for tomorrow and Tuesday is very warm weather.
We’d like to give students two options;
1) you can come to school in your uniform but there is no expectation for blazers, jumpers or ties to be worn
2) you can come to school in your UCC PE kit
We would obviously also advise wearing spf, and bringing water bottles that can be refilled throughout the day.
We have cancelled the Benison & Thwaites Mile on Tuesday, as per public health advice. Normal PE lessons will run but they will be adjusted accordingly i.e. using indoor venues, avoiding sustained exposure to the sun and monitoring the situation.
We will also be re-rooming classes in order to avoid known hotspots around the school.
