Dear Parent/Carer
Firstly, congratulations on the fantastic GCSE results this summer, the year 12’s have made a positive start to their sixth form careers.
On Thursday 15 September 2022, I would like to invite you into school for our Year 12 settling in event. This is an opportunity for you to find out a little more about the sixth form and to talk to your child’s form tutor about how they have settled in after the first week and if they have chosen the correct courses.
The event will start with a talk from me in the Library at 5:00pm, outlining sixth form expectations and the support available for students at this exciting time in their lives. After that, there will be time with form tutors, setting up lines of communication and putting a face to the name. Tutors will be based in the following rooms:

If you are unable to make the event, please just ask your child to inform their form tutor in advance. There will be signs and staff on hand to help direct people on the evening.
