Dear Parents/Carers
We are pleased to inform you that our Year 10 and Year 12 students will have the opportunity to attend the Eden Skills Fair at Penrith Leisure Centre on Thursday 5 October 2023. This event is a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore various career options and gain valuable insights into the world of work.
The Eden Skills Fair is hosted by Carlisle College in partnership with Westmorland & Furness Council, Cumbria Local Employment Partnership, and key partners, including the Chamber of Commerce and Cumbria Tourism. It promises to be an informative and engaging event that will help our students make informed decisions about their future careers.
Some of the employers and training providers in attendance include;
Students will visit the careers fair between 2:25pm – 3:25pm on Thursday 5 October 2023. The event will run until 5:30pm, providing opportunities for parents and carers to also visit with their children after school.
