Firstly – Congratulations! The year 7’s have made a great start to their time at Ullswater.
On Thursday 12 October 2023, we would like to invite parents into school for our Year 7 settling in event. This is an opportunity for you to find out a little more about the start of term and to talk to your child’s form tutor about how they have settled at UCC after the first few weeks.
Mr Gilby and I will be present to chat to parents from 4.15pm if you have any questions, but the main focus is to book an appointment with your child’s form tutor to discuss how they’re settling in. Staff will be present, and appointments take place in the Westmorland Hall.
Appointments are 5 minute slots, 4.15 – 6.40pm, with site closing at 7pm. The link you need to book is; https://ullswatercc.schoolcloud.co.uk/ Booking opens at 7am tomorrow morning, and closes at 4pm on Wednesday 11 October 2023.
It will ask you to log in, you just need to enter your details as we have them on the school system i.e. if you’re Mrs/Miss/Ms, it needs to be correct or the booking system won’t recognise you.
It is important that we adhere to the 5mins slots so that there is time for each tutor to speak to each family but don’t forget you can always follow up any discussions with an email.

If you are unable to make the event, please just ask your child to inform their form tutor in advance.
The Year 7 Parents’ Evening where you can speak to subject teachers will take place online in March – you will receive an invitation nearer the time.
