By 14 August 2020No Comments

Dear Parent/Carers

We are writing to you regarding updated information for GCSE results day on Thursday 20 August 2020.

In response to guidance to schools, GCSE results day will be organised in the following way, to ensure the safety of students and staff.

  1. Students are invited to collect their results at the following times, dependent upon their tutor group. Please endeavour to collect results within the allocated time slots. If this is not possible, please try to let us know in advance.

Timings Forms
10:00 – 10:20 MMC & ROD
10:30 – 10:50 CXA & CPR
11:00 – 11:20 JXG & KLS
11:30 – 12:00 JWW, REH & NJF

  1. The results envelopes will be laid out on tables, in alphabetical order, for self-collection. Students should make their way to the tables labelled with their tutor group, and collect their own results. Students may not collect results on behalf of another student

  1. We ask that anyone displaying symptoms, or has someone in their household displaying symptoms, does not come onto site

  1. We ask that students and parents wear face coverings and adhere to social distancing rules when entering the Cumberland Hall to collect the results slips. Hand sanitising stations will be available on entry and exit and cleaning will take place throughout the day and between collection slots

  1. Once students have collected their results, we are happy for them to interact with their peers, however this must be done whilst maintaining social distancing.

We understand that this year’s results day will be very different to previous years, and there will be a number of staff on hand to support students. Information will also be available to support students on the school website; https://ullswatercc.co.uk/exams/

We look forward to welcoming Year 11 back into school to receive their results and celebrating their success. If your child is unable to attend school to collect their results and, instead, an emailed version of results is required, please contact exams@ullswatercc.co.uk as soon as possible to confirm the best email address for us to use.

Yours faithfully

Mr R Moss, Assistant Headteacher

Mr G Key, Head of Year
