Dear Parent/Carer
We are writing with exciting news on updates to the UCC uniform for September 2021.
We have listened to the Year 7 – 11 students who want the option to wear a jumper as well as their blazer, so there is now a UCC jumper available. The UCC jumper is optional, students do not need to wear a jumper, but if they do it must be the UCC design.
Similarly, students, staff and parents have asked us to improve the consistency of the school uniform so we are also introducing a UCC skirt. The UCC skirt is optional, students can still wear black trousers, but if they choose to wear a skirt then it must be the UCC design.

The school ties, school jumpers and school skirts will all be available to purchase from UCC. You can continue to purchase school trousers, shirts and blazers from any retailer, both Sam Scotts and Lakeland Embroidery have a stock of UCC logos for the blazers.
Unfortunately we have just been informed of manufacturing delays, this means that if your child would like a skirt and/or jumper for September, we really need those details by Thursday 29 April 2021. If we could please ask you to complete this form with size and quantity information. We then expect delivery in August but we will be in touch nearer the time about payment and collection.
School ties are mandatory so we will have sufficient stock for every student and will be in touch nearer the time about purchase and collection.
The UCC PE kit continues to be available from Halbro.
We want every student at UCC to have access to the full uniform, including the optional jumper and skirt. If the additional cost of the optional uniform items is a concern we would encourage parents to access our uniform support fund. This fund exists to support any family experiencing financial pressures, as well as families with more than one child to purchase uniform for.
